見よ、イスラエルを守る者は まどろむこともなく、眠ることもない。 詩篇 121:4 そして、日本を守る者(総理大臣ではない)、那珂川を守る者(市長ではない)、アガペキリスト教会を守る者(牧師ではない) は眠ることがない。これ以外、何もつけくわえなくていいですね。 聖書朗読 ネヘミヤ記10-11 詩篇121 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 彼らはその所に立ったままで、昼の1/4は、彼らの神、主の律法の書を朗読し、次の1/4は、告白をして、彼らの神、主を礼拝した。ネヘミヤ9:3 昼の1/4と書いてますが、原語の言い方を詳しく調べると3時間のことです。聖書を3時間読んでから3時間礼拝していた！毎日ですよ！長年、神様から離れた人たちがいて、神の助けと憐れみを受けて、感謝な気持ちだったでしょうね。今は暇な日々が多く、聖書を読まないなら、「忙しい」という言い訳は無理です。聖書を読む習慣を身につけるチャンスです。 聖書朗読 ネヘミヤ記7-9 詩篇120 And they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of the Lord their God one fourth part of the day; and another fourth part they confessed, and worshipped the Lord their God. There was a long period of time that they were away from God and His Word and I'm sure they were filled with happiness for His Mercy. Right now with Corona, we have a lot of free time. If we aren't reading the Bible every day, it's not because we are too busy. Let's get in the habit of reading every day.

王に申しあげた、「どうぞ王よ、長生きされますように。わたしの先祖の墳墓の地であるあの町は荒廃し、その門が火で焼かれたままであるのに、どうしてわたしは悲しげな顔をしないでいられましょうか」。 ネヘミヤ記 2:3 門や壁の目的はなんでしょうか？様々な目的があると思いますが、一番すぐ思いつくのは、中にいる者を天候や敵から守るためです。アメリカ大統領が壁を作ると言い出した時、大きな批判を受けましたが、当然のことしか言いませんでした。 それと同じように、ネヘミヤはエルサレムの門や城壁を再建する夢がありました。神様の宮や民を守るために不可欠な働きでした。 「壁を壊そう」と言う多様な時代である今、壁の目的や必要性を忘れないで欲しい。霊的な壁を作り、自分の心を守り、聖別された人になりましょう。 聖書朗読 ネヘミヤ1-3 詩篇117 And said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers' sepulchres, lieth waste, and the gates thereof are consumed with fire? わたしは主を愛する。 主はわが声と、わが願いとを聞かれたからである。 詩篇 116:1 口語訳 私たちが話す時、周りの人が聞いてくれると嬉しいですが、無視されると嫌な気持ちになる場合があります。だから、待ちきれなくて、他の人が話してる途中に割り込んだりする場合がある。今預かってる里子くんは特に酷い。皆の集中が自分の方に集まるまで、声がどんどん大きくなる。そして、集中して聞いても、それが嬉しくて、声が小さくなるわけではない。 神様は私たちの声を聞くのが好き。例え小さな声でも、叫んでもいいから、祈ろう。 聖書朗読 エズラ8-10，詩篇116 I love the Lord , because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Psalms 116:1 KJV When we are talking, if people around us listen, it makes is happy, but it is an unpleasant feeling if we are ignored. That's why it is common to interrupt someone because we feel we can't wait. Our foster son is especially bad. He often interrupts and gets louder and louder until he is heard. God wants to hear our voice. Small voice, shouting voice, if doesn't matter...just pray.

地よ、主のみ前におののけ、ヤコブの神のみ前におののけ。 詩篇 114:7 クリスチャンを含め、現代の多くの人は神様に対する「恐れ」がなく、軽く冗談ぽくに神様の名前をつかう。聖書が教える神様は偉大な方で想像できないほど素晴らしい業を行える。その素晴らしい神様が私の名前を知ってる！愛の神、恵みの神でありますが、神様に対する恐れもあるべきです。 聖書朗読 エズラ記1-3 詩篇114 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;　Psalms 114:7 Including some Christians, many people today don't have a fear of God, rather they take His name very lightly. スリヤ王の軍勢の長ナアマンはその主君に重んじられた有力な人であった。主がかつて彼を用いてスリヤに勝利を得させられたからである。彼は大勇士であったが、重い皮膚病をわずらっていた。 第2列王記 5:1 ナアマンはVIPでした。一般の人の苦労はわからず、成績ある立派なリーダーでした。なのに、大きな病気で苦しんでました。なぜ？病気には偏見がないから。社会の立場は関係ないかり。病気になるときは深い意味があると思わず、ただただ、癒やし主に癒やされるように祈りましょう。 聖書朗読 第2列王記4-7 詩篇107 Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the Lord had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper. 2 Kings 5:1 Naaman was a VIP. He didn't know the struggles of normal people. He was an elite leader of an army. However, he was struggling with a serious illness. Why? Because disease doesn't discriminate. it doesn't care about your status. When we become sick, we shouldn't overanalyze that there is some deep meaning. Just ask the Great Physician for healing.

主をほめたたえよ。主に感謝せよ、主は恵みふかく、そのいつくしみはとこしえに絶えることがない。 詩篇 106:1 今はスポーツ試合が無いので、各テレビ局がホークスの過去の優勝の動画を流したり、その他の主な出来事をニュース番組時に放送しています。試合がないからニュース内容が足りなく放送時間が余るのが理由ではないと思います。コロナで落ち込んだり不安な人が多いなか、過去のスポーツの勝利の振り返りを見ることで元気が出るからだと思います。 私たちクリスチャンはスポーツの振り返りより元気になるはるかに良い方法があります: 賛美です。神様を褒めたたえましょう。 聖書朗読 第2列王記1-3 詩篇106 Praise ye the Lord . Is it to kill time because there is not enough news topics and they will have empty airtime? No. It's because watching winning moments in sports cheers people up. We as Christians have a better way! God always provided his daily needs. If you continue to read, you'll see that the river dried up, but not to worry because God has a plan. God always has a plan and always knows what we need. God stopped David from bulding the Temple. We should always move forward until God stops us and then, we should find a different way to move forward for Him. There is no church services this month but we can still worship Him where we are.

He speaks about the fact that leaders must be just and fear God. Are there any such leaders today? The coronavirus has made it even more difficult for leaders to make good decisions. Psalms 95:6‭-‬7 Sheep aren't the brightest of animals, but are smart enough to hear the voice of their shepherd and to follow. There are so many voices sending mixed messages today that it is hard to tune out the voices we shouldn't be listening to. When we worship God alone, it will be much easier to tune out the false voices.

He praises God for choosing Israel as His people and for His bountiful blessings. God is great, and not only can we read about it in the Bible but we can experience it in our own lives. Every day, the news is full of things that make us worry and we don't know how is our finances will work out. Let's decrease the amount of time we spend watching the news and focus more on God.
